Does "Dream Lover" mean "who loves dreams"?
Does the nickname (yes, nickname) have to be hyphenated, as user "Zirp" mentioned earlier? Why should it mean "lover from a dream" if "cat lover" means "who loves cats", and not literally a loving cat?
I don't care that the name looks weird, or that no one understands it. I just want it to be correct. Also, I like to be extravagant.
Now, the same case with "Dream Enjoyer". Will the problem recur, or is it different?

well, tough titty. Correct means that people DO understand it. "dream" is not an adjective. "is your lover dream?" is not English.
A "cat-lover" can be someone who loves cats, but it can also be a lover that happens to be a cat. English can be a very vague language.
Yes, "Dream-enjoyer" also needs a hyphen, and may (still) not be accepted as English.
BTW this question of yours may be deleted for calling out (me).

oh, but in the song, 'Dream Lover' means your lover in your dreams rather than someone else who loves dreams

One can use a noun as an adjective without hyphenation, which I believe is the essence of your question. Does dream lover mean the same as dreamy lover? I don't think so. Dream lover to me would be a person that loves dreams, rather than a lover of someone's dreams.

Your dream-lover is the love interest you dream about having.
Never heard of "dream enjoyer."
