Try here to read about the Buddha Gotama - https://www.google.com.au/search?num=30&newwindow=...
Sumedha is the Buddha's name during His fist life of bodhisatta.
kalpa means earth.
it also means one "rise and fall" within a lifespan of earth - this earth has about 62 kalpas (rise and fall) length of lifespan. Lifespan of earth is rather too long - it's not shown with years in Buddhism.
kappa (q.v.) = kalpa: (Skr). http://www.viet.net/anson/ebud/bud-dict/dic3_k.htm read the entry there.
You also need to know the word - asaṁkhyeya - generally explained as innumerable - or 10^140 (in Burmese record).
rise and fall means - the lifespan of humans rise and fall - now we live 100 years, earlier people lived 1000 years ... one rise and fall is many times 1^140 years.
the lifespan of this earth is hundreds times 10^140 years.

the links are fine, but the information in your question is wrong so I won't explain it. Just forget it. Try to read from that search "Ascetic Sumedha" - http://usamyanmar.net/Buddha/Article/BodhisattaFir...

Salamaliakum
Thanks for admiring my knowledge, but my knowledge is in Islam mostly.
Buddism is a calm religion whose temples are mostly found in India. I will read the links later..
When life exist and when it ends and how? I will answer this from Islam point of view.
Life is in the hands of Allah and only he knows when and who will be born and how and when we will die.
This life is full of test, we are here to worship Allah alone. And death for a believer is a gift because for a believer this world is like a prison.
For disbeliever this world is paradise and all they can have. But they have no share in hereafter.
Are you interested in accepting Islam as your religion? Your open to ask questions.

I cannot understand your writing.
I guess English is not your first language .. you do not speak it very well or communicate clearly.
I recommend that you find a temple with a Buddhist monk or nun there, to whom you can ask your question. These questions (about Buddhism) are always best answered in person anyway.
Intellect doesn't really understand or grasp what Buddha was talking about, so words do not do a good job of conveying the concepts.
You have to train your mind in meditation and see the concepts for yourself if you really want to understand them.
But all this stuff about Kalpas .. it doesn't matter.
Buddhism is about THIS moment and what is happening NOW. Your question is not about what is happening to yourself now.
