Booking.com UK site offered me a 3 star hotel room in Milan for £18 - with no cancellation fee.  I took the offer and got a reply telling me all was OK and the price was 12 euros.  Twenty minutes later, I got another email telling me it was a mistake and the room would be £323. I cancelled.  I'm willing to go along with this being a genuine mistake, but it could be a scam to get customers to commit.  If a number of people have had this problem with booking.com, I'm prepared to prosecute them.

I used to get about 3 emails a day from Y!A with Best Answers and Violation Notices, but for the past few weeks nada. I can keep tabs on my Best Answers through my profile, but I can no longer appeal when my stalkers report my answers.

I clicked on the "Appeal this decision" button and got a message that it had not come from my account. Have the report trolls found a new way of avoiding being ignored?

There are an increasing number of supposed questions of the form "Did you know..." followed by an untrue statement. If you reply pointing out that the statement is untrue, your answer gets reported and Yahoo rejects your appeal. I've been on Y!A since it started, but I'm not participating in this nonsense. I'm off to find something useful to do with my time.

After months of no "best answer" or "violation notice" emails, I've had a violation notice from Yahoo 7. I haven't given Yahoo permission to relay my answers to other networks. Can I sue?

This is a long shot, but Y!A haven't let me down yet. I've recently picked up a DT50 portable PA system, with a non-working VHF microphone receiver. (Not a problem, it was free - the worst I've got is a very loud FM radio) I think that the VHF switch needs replacing. Does anyone have a circuit diagram?

I have an Asus Tablet running Android 4.4.2. There are a number of apps that installed and ran happily on my anonymous Chinese Tablet running Android 4.2.1, but when I try to install them on my new Tablet, I get the message "Unable to install on SD card or USB". There is an SD card with plenty of space and I get the same results if I add a USB drive. I suspect that this is the "inappropriate error message" problem. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have had enough of having questions deleted when I'm attempting to answer them, and having my answers deleted by internet bullies. Yahoo! have abandoned any semblance of moderation and anyone with an axe to grind can delete questions and answers at will.

When I travel abroad and try to collect my mail on my Android phone through the hotel's wifi, Yahoo tells me that my account has been compromised and I need to change my password. (Just try reading Captcha codes in Android). I've always got around this by setting up mail forwarding to my gmail account. However, the option no longer seems to be there. Or is that what you have to pay Yahoo £22 a year for?

Whenever I attempt to craft a detailed answer to an atheist's question on the age of the universe or evolution, I find that after wasting 5 minutes typing, the question has been deleted. Not only is this annoying, but it means that important questions on Christian belief go unanswered. Please stop doing it. And anyone who gets a violation notice, please appeal. The only way we can stop these idiots is by getting Y!A to block their IP addresses.

I've got a Chinese generic Android 4.0.3 smartphone for Christmas. I put in a PAYG SIM and it all seems fine. Phone calls, wifi, internet and email are no problem. I can add contacts, but nowhere on the phone or the screen is there an edit or system button. Once I click "done" the contract is there for keeps. I can't correct my clumsy typing. I can't delete the contact to start again. I'm familiar with Android 4, but this thing has me beaten. Does anyone have any ideas?
