Need help identifying a solid term for this description?
Looking for a term to describe someone who has reached success without having to earn much... The opposite of one who is battle tested, resilient, inspirational, etc. What's a word to describe one who was handed everything, therefore lives life complacently.

Not necessarily your favorite but just a movie that you consider must see that maybe is underrated or not as popular as you feel it should be.

I am becoming increasingly interested in Marvel and DC comics but figured a good place to start a comic collection would be the new 52 since I've always been a fan of Batman, the Flash and the Green Lantern. I even loved the Batman Beyond story... Well... The animated show a while back... But my issue is I'm not a huge fan of Robin. I don't mind him being a supporting character I just want to see the fueds between Batman and my two favorite of his villains which are the Joker and Two Face... Not Robin and his buffoonery. Sorry for the long rhetoric but some suggestions would be greatly appreciated as to which storylines I should look to.

Love German Shepherds, however, I don't love the amount of shedding. Obviously a GSD is unique but do you have any suggestions for breeds that are similar in intelligence, versatility and size that don't shed as much?

Looking for a motorcycle to begin with. Specifically looking at sport bikes. What I'm confused about is when looking at Honda CBRs and Kawasaki Ninjas, etc, there are different variants... So I was looking for a breakdown of the terms "650r" and "500cc" and so on. What do the numbers mean and what are common abbreviations I should know of? Also any recommendations for a beginner would be highly appreciated!

I'm just thinking... So, a caveman would just pass by some perfectly good peanuts without gathering them or snacking on them? Man... They were more stupid than I thought... Or did they just not digest them like we do? Why don't we consider peanuts paleo?

I'm 5'9 180 wrestling someone who is roughly 6'4 250 or so. This isn't competition related. He is helping me with the wrestling aspect of MMA. My problem is, I can't get him on his back. Him being so much bigger, his sprawls give him a seemingly irreversible advantageous position every time I shoot. He's being passive on purpose because our ideology is that if I can be aggressive and take him down while he is passive, somebody in my weight class would be easier... Regardless of them focusing on stuffing takedowns or making it easier by closing the distance themselves. Another issue is that when I look to close the distance and get into a clinch to work on a trip, his height makes it easy to maneuver into a guillotine... Which I do defend well but nonetheless I gain nothing from moving in and out like that. Any tips?

When I change the channel on my television, it will make a static sound and my dog runs away. She starts getting anxious and scratching on doors. I don't recall anything in the past that was dramatic for her that involved a static sound, so it is sort of baffling. I suppose this situation is similar to when a dog is afraid of thunder... Although my dog isn't afraid of thunder... Maybe a similar method used to ease the fear of thunder in dogs can be used to ease my dog's fear of the static noise from my television. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

What could that potentially be? When looking at knee anatomy, I'd say it was near the top of the LCL. There was no pop sound, and it isn't there when walking. I was playing basketball and while practicing, it randomly started to just be painful to accelerate. Painful enough to make me worried about taking another step. When I walk normally, I'm fine... No pain... But when I lean in to accelerate for running, even lightly, it is excruciating.

The whole game, the Spurs defenders were pressing up on Paul 5+ ft behind the three point line... I think Pop will make this adjustment... I don't see why they didn't in the game though.
2 respuestasBasketballhace 6 añosWhat book taught you the most?
Personally, I really only find reading enjoyable when it teaches me something... Even if it is a textbook on anatomy. I can't focus when reading about a fictional story or something like that. I was wondering, what book was the most educating and insightful to you? I'm interested in any book that can teach me something... Whether it is self help, or anything like that.
