Honest question, from a guy who would be hanging from a tree if the scum of the Earth that they are had their way. If they hate Jews and other minorities so much, you would think they would gladly acknowledge the death of at least 6 million of them.

Which one did you think was the most entertaining, and which one had the greatest impact on you?

Disregard the wide abuses of power by past Presidents -- working from the Constitution only, what would you change or add (of course, your change might be to give the office more power and more leeway with executive orders).

I would require that a Presidential candidate have taken courses in military history, strategy, and ethics, similar to what your standard GI would have to take.

That's nonsense of course, but wouldn't it be funny to see the lefties' heads spin at that idea?

My family went horseback riding a couple of weeks ago -- three of us have only done it once before, and my mom's done it only a couple more times, so we're all inexperienced. To make a long story short, my mom's horse got spooked, started galloping, and my mom fell off -- she broke her femur and her humerus, and won't be in proper shape again for about 3 months. The woman who owned the farm and the horses did not give us emergency dismount instructions before we started our guided ride. Is this a standard practice in the industry?

Does the running mate take his/her place and then they choose a VP nominee? Does the party have to call in the runner-up from the primary? Or must there be a new vote by the delegates?

He's run his whole campaign on the premise that she is a corrupt crony capitalist who doesn't care about the people, and yet he's willing to support her. Ben Carson lost more than a few fans when he endorsed Trump, a guy whose principles are the opposite of his.

Bernie fans, do you feel betrayed by his decision?

Obviously this is news to few. But I just finished watching Milo Yiannopoulos' talk at DePaul. Anyone who knows me knows I'm no big fan of Trump -- but he's right about political correctness. And these entitled brats trying to silence a peaceful expression of different opinions almost make me want to vote for him.

My mom gifted me one of those multi-function players (LP/CD/tape/radio) -- turned out to be a cheap POS. The motor was weak and played 33 and 45 at the same speed, which is a crawl. Going off what I've read on the internet you're not going to find an all-in-one system that actually sounds good -- you have to get a turntable and good speakers separately. You guys know me -- I'm not a professional, just a guy who loves his music and wants to make good use of the LPs he's found over the years. What do you suggest I buy that will sound good but is reasonably affordable?

A teenager was found guilty for shooting a pregnant woman two years ago (http://www.wtae.com/news/teen-found-guilty-of-shoo... -- she survived, but her unborn child was killed as a result. You would think that, with no person dead, the charges would be attempted murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm, etc. But they gave him 3rd degree murder too, meaning that he killed someone unintentionally while trying to kill someone else. But if the unborn aren't people, then they can't be murdered, right? So how does this make sense? Does the life of an unborn child only matter if the mother wants it?

It was nice to hear a debate with ideas calmly debated and no comments about d!ck size. Mcafee strikes me a guy who could have a similar appeal as Trump but is actually reasonable.

Time's a cruel mistress -- two lesser-known but nonetheless important musical figures of the '60s and '70s have passed on.

Demis Roussos had a unique and beautiful voice -- it can take some getting used to, but fans appreciate his capability of handling tender tracks and more intense pieces with equal skill. I don't know much about his solo career, nor do I plan on exploring it (I'm not a fan of that sappy, overwrought, San Remo-ish ballad style), but I do really like Aphrodite's Child -- all three of their albums are highly recommended.

Edgar Froese, leader of Tangerine Dream, also left a mark on the art rock scene. Though I've never found their work as engrossing Brian Eno's, I'm sure that Eno wouldn't have mastered that ambient style without spending quite a few hours listening to their albums.

I get it on a certain level. For one, "The Lord of the Rings" is one of the greatest works of fantasy of all time. Second, there is a very obvious Nordic influence on the cultures of Middle Earth. But what confuses me is this: Tolkien was well-known as a devout Roman Catholic, and was firmly opposed to Nazism, anti-Semitism and racism. Let's also not forget that, despite the power of Mordor, Sauron ultimately falls to the forces of Light -- not exactly the most inspiring work for the most evil musical style ever. Yet, the black metal community, many of whose members hold diametrically opposite beliefs, still celebrate his work, be it in the subject matter of songs or band/musician names (Gorgoroth, Grishnackh). If there are any black metal musicians or fans on here (the ones who have the kind of politics the scene is well known for), I'd like to know: do you just choose to ignore Tolkien's personal politics and focus on his creativity and assimilation of Nordic culture in LotR, or is there some other reason for the Tolkien fandom?
